Clean, dry skin is best: avoid heavy creams or self-tanners, exfoliate lightly 48 hours beforehand, and ensure hair is roughly 1/4 inch long. Avoid recent sun exposure to reduce sensitivity and improve results.

Sensitivity varies, but discomfort is brief during each strip. Our technicians use soothing pre- and post-wax care, quick technique to minimize pain, and can recommend topical numbing or comfort strategies if needed.

For best results hair should be about 1/4 inch (6–8 mm) long so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too long we trim; if too short, wait two to three weeks for regrowth.

Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing often leads to slower, finer regrowth and may extend intervals over time; we’ll recommend a personalized schedule.

Common temporary effects include redness, mild irritation, and occasional ingrown hairs. Proper pre- and aftercare reduces risks. Inform your technician of medications or skin conditions to ensure safe treatment.

If you have sensitive skin or conditions such as eczema, consult us beforehand. We may perform a patch test, adjust technique, or advise against waxing on inflamed areas and suggest alternatives or medical clearance.
