Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms Wax.

Underarms waxing removes hair from the root, so most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing can extend intervals; avoid shaving between sessions for best results and consistent regrowth reduction.

Some discomfort is normal, but our experienced technicians use quick techniques and temperature-controlled wax to minimize pain. Apply numbing creams if needed, breathe deeply during treatment, and follow pre- and post-care instructions to reduce sensitivity and improve comfort.

Ensure hair is at least quarter-inch long for effective removal. Exfoliate gently two days before and avoid deodorant, heavy lotions, or sun exposure on the day. Clean, dry skin helps the wax adhere and reduces risk of irritation.

Mild redness, bumps, or sensitivity for a few hours to a day are common. Keep the area clean, avoid tight clothing, hot showers, and heavy deodorants immediately after. If signs of infection or prolonged swelling occur, contact us for advice.

Most clients book every three to six weeks depending on personal hair growth. New waxers may return sooner; after several consistent sessions, hair often thins and intervals can lengthen. We’ll recommend a tailored schedule during your visit.

Avoid applying deodorant or antiperspirant for at least 12–24 hours to prevent irritation. Use gentle, fragrance-free soothing products recommended by our estheticians, and wait until the skin has calmed to reintroduce regular products.
